a spooktacular halloween party
I’m not the biggest fan of Halloween (before I had kids I pretty much avoided it) - but now that I do, I’ve chosen to really LEAN in…and find a little fun in Halloween! We always do a little Halloween party with friends - it’s a fun way to wear those cute costumes one more time, eat some treats and snacks, play some games and do a little craft. Why not, right? This year I kept the decor really simple with a few purple and orange streamers, and set the table with the cutest ghost and bat plates. I also put together little goodie bags for all of the guests to take home using little mini cauldrons. Ethan dressed up as Bluey, and Lauren was a Mermaid and baby Drew just work a little pumpkin hat. Happy Halloween!

Over the past 5 years I have loved setting up a little Halloween party at home for my kids (sometimes we invite friends, sometimes it’s just us!) I always try to lean into ‘cute’ halloween - happy ghosts, cheery pumpkins, silly skeletons, or adding a pink, peach and purple to the traditional colour scheme. But this year I decided to stay true to the ‘black, white and orange' halloween decor, and go with a more vintage-inspired look that I think turned out so cute!
