The kids are going back to school — and this year was extra special celebrating the first day of KINDERGARTEN for Ethan, and Grade 3 for Lauren. We kicked off the morning with a fun breakfast featuring waffles, fruit, and cheerful table décor. Simple touches like striped napkins, crayon box shaped treat boxes, and matching pajamas made the morning of the first day feel extra special!
It’s back to school time! This year we celebrated the first day of grade ONE with a fun breakfast! Apple crumble muffins, apple-cinnamon cheerios and fruit made for an easy breakfast we could enjoy together before heading off to school!

who doesn’t love a little tea party! I think that’s one thing that my daughter and I have in common, so we had fun planning this special little party together, and sharing some sweet treats and memories as well! This might just have to become an annual event!
a little backyard summer fiesta to add a little fun theme night for the kids! We had tacos, mexican sodas, tortilla chips and quacamole, margaritas and baked churros for dessert! I strung a DIY papel picado banner between the garden lights with a colourful tassle garland, and decorated a picnic table with mini pinatas, painted cactus rocks, and terracotta pots!
