okanagan peach pie

Last year, Lauren and I decided we wanted to go pick peaches while we were in the Okanagan. So we did! Just the two of us. And it was such a special afternoon - it ended with a big box of fresh peaches and a little peach sorbet + iced coffee at a picnic table nestled in the orchard. So I decided it needed to become an annual tradition!

This summer - we were excited to head out to Paynter’s Fruit Market once again, but when I asked Lauren what she thought we should do with our peaches this year, she said enthusiastically: PEACH PIE! Well, I have honestly never made a pie from scratch but it sounded like a terrific idea! Let’s go!

What’s better than a little peach pie, vanilla ice cream and okanagan white wine for dessert?!! delicious. We used this recipe (opted for a crumble top because pastry art was intimidating!) Highly reccomend!
