BOO! a mini halloween party

I couldn’t let halloween pass by without a having a bit of ghost-themed fun with my littles at home! I just had to get these adorable ghost plates + matching ghost balloons with rosy pink cheeks when I saw this collection from A Little Confetti! I also got the matching napkins, reusable straws, and “Trick or Treat” banner too!

I put out a few fun treats to snack on, and let the kids open up a little goodie bag a put together for them (mostly things from the dollar store) including fuzzy mittens that I added “BOO!” iron-on letters to, glow sticks for trick-or-treating, stamps, a granola bar, a fruit snack, socks, and a few of those little squishy toys that they love.

I planned a few activities including a little wooden painting craft, printed out ghost tic-tac-toe sheets, and for the main event - we made spooky potions! We used these super fun Potion Play packs from one of our local favourites: Little Larch! Messy, creative play is always a favourite at our house - for this one, I set out little plastic trays to contain the potion mixture, beakers of water and wooden spoons.

I made these little tic-tac-toe cards for a fun game - you can download them by clicking the link below to print off your own!
