valentine's day ice cream party
For Valentine’s Day this year, we celebrated with a cheerful ice cream party! I made a pink and white striped awning and a sign that said “We All Love Ice Cream,” added light pink balloons and heart‑lettered mylar balloons, then set out bowls of vanilla and strawberry ice cream, fresh berries, sauces, sprinkles, and cherries — plus little surprise balls hidden in cones for a playful twist!
gem valentines
This year’s classroom valentines are extra sparkly! I created free printable “You’re a Real Gem of a Friend!” cards, which pair perfectly with small crystals or acrylic gems. They’re easy to print at home or a print shop and make handing out Valentine’s Day cards extra fun for kids.
christmas cookies + DIY ornaments
Christmas is in full swing and we kicked off the season with cozy pajamas, holiday cookies, and homemade ornaments! After baking and decorating gingerbread men and candy cane sugar cookies, we made simple cornstarch dough ornaments using star and snowflake cutters, added cute Christmas tattoo decals, and tied them with string — a fun festive afternoon for the kids.
another fun halloween party
I’m always surprised how quickly Halloween arrives after school starts! We hosted a little Halloween party with friends full of tasty treats, games, crafts, and all the silly fun that comes with the season. For decorations, I created a balloon display with peach, orange and white balloons, and set the table with fun ghost and BOO plates the kids loved.

colourful and fun easter baskets
Oh hey it’s just me again with another FUN easter basket! This year I am using these colourful crates from Urban Outfitters - I loved the bright orange and mint green colours, and they will look super cute in the kid’s rooms after Easter too!
little love letters for valentine's day
we had a simple and sweet “little love letters” party for Valentine’s Day this year. We each wrote special notes to our family members telling them what we loved about them! It was so fun to read our letters out loud and eat cookies and as always - throw confetti!

Sitting by the fire with the Christmas tree glowing, we decorated gingerbread houses and cookies wearing matching checkered Christmas sweaters! With a cheerful table set in gingerbread‑themed plates, napkins, and village house details, the activity brought festive fun indoors on a cold winter day.

third annual bunny brunch!
I’m not sure what the rules are for how many times you need to do something to make it a “tradition” - but this year we held our third “bunny brunch” before Easter and it also happened to be my birthday as well! This simple little springtime brunch made me so happy - the perfect party!
it's easter basket time!
Here are the items I have gathered for my kid’s easter baskets this year - I hope this gives you a few ideas for your own little’s, or even gift ideas for another occasion! I always challenge myself to follow these guidelines for their easter baskets: something to wear, something to use, something for spring, something to play with and something to read!
