I wasn’t originally going to plan anything for St. Patrick’s day this year, but Lauren convinced me and I’m glad she did! I threw this together during Drew’s nap using things I already had - digging out a few things from my party bin, made a quick sign using my cricut and some leftover cardstock on a wooden board I’ve had for years!

I love making things for my kid’s birthday parties and little festive celebrations. One of my favourite ways to create decor and add cute details to the party is with my Cricut machine! I have the Cricut Maker 3 - and it can do it all - it has totally opened up my imagination for things I can make! So without further adieu, here is a roundup of things I have made for parties with my trusty Cricut!

In case you’re looking for some last minute Easter Basket fillers - here is what I’ve found for my littles! My favourite part is always adding a special Cuddle + Kind doll to their baskets! I also like to include a book, something for spring (hat, skipping rope, bug catcher, flower seeds, sidewalk chalk, bubbles), and something useful (satin pillowcase, hair product, lotion, bubble bath) - and then I normally hide a few little treats and dollar store things in there too! Instead of baskets, I found these colourful, stackable caddies!

A little Valentine’s Day tea party was the perfect way to celebrate heart day with my little loves! With pretty pink and red linens, dreamy balloons overhead, and satin‑tied candles, the table felt festive and cozy. We enjoyed heart‑shaped strawberry scones, mini cupcakes, fresh berries and a delicious peach‑raspberry tea together.

I love designing my kids’ classroom valentine cards! This time - I went against my normal candy-free valentines, and did a “starburst” theme for Lauren’s classmates. You can download the printable sheet below to make your own!

As always, the christmas season went by WAY too fast, but we still managed accomplish (most of) our advent calendar activities! Eating christmas cookies, decorating the tree, making garland and christmas cards are a few of my favourites!

We always do a little Halloween party with friends - it’s a fun way to wear those cute costumes one more time, eat some treats and snacks, play some games and do a little craft. Happy Halloween!

The kids are going back to school — and this year was extra special celebrating the first day of KINDERGARTEN for Ethan, and Grade 3 for Lauren. We kicked off the morning with a fun breakfast featuring waffles, fruit, and cheerful table décor. Simple touches like striped napkins, crayon box shaped treat boxes, and matching pajamas made the morning of the first day feel extra special!

high five for turning 5! We celebrated Ethan’s birthday with a backyard party with friends. The highlight was a bubble house full of balloons!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays, and this year I was so excited to put together baskets full of special goodies — including matching bunny jammies for the night before, heirloom Cuddle + Kind dolls, spring toys, chalk, games, and treats that made Easter morning feel fun and festive.

One of my absolute favorite traditions is hosting a little “Bunny Brunch” each Easter! For our 5th annual celebration, we kept the menu simple with cinnamon buns, muffins, fresh fruit, and eggs + toast. I loved using a yellow gingham tablecloth and a pretty tissue‑paper bow garland, and of course we never forgot our bunny ears to make the morning extra fun.

What’s not to love about rainbows, green smoothies and Lucky Charms?! We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day this year with a little breakfast party featuring a rainbow of balloons, green pancakes, green fruit skewers, and doughnuts with Lucky Charms sprinkled on top! We also made Leprechaun traps — Lauren brought one to school and Ethan built his own, making the holiday extra fun.

For Valentine’s Day this year, we celebrated with a cheerful ice cream party! I made a pink and white striped awning and a sign that said “We All Love Ice Cream,” added light pink balloons and heart‑lettered mylar balloons, then set out bowls of vanilla and strawberry ice cream, fresh berries, sauces, sprinkles, and cherries — plus little surprise balls hidden in cones for a playful twist!

This year’s classroom valentines are extra sparkly! I created free printable “You’re a Real Gem of a Friend!” cards, which pair perfectly with small crystals or acrylic gems. They’re easy to print at home or a print shop and make handing out Valentine’s Day cards extra fun for kids.
