As always, the christmas season went by WAY too fast, but we still managed accomplish (most of) our advent calendar activities! Eating christmas cookies, decorating the tree, making garland and christmas cards are a few of my favourites!

Christmas is in full swing and we kicked off the season with cozy pajamas, holiday cookies, and homemade ornaments! After baking and decorating gingerbread men and candy cane sugar cookies, we made simple cornstarch dough ornaments using star and snowflake cutters, added cute Christmas tattoo decals, and tied them with string — a fun festive afternoon for the kids.

Sitting by the fire with the Christmas tree glowing, we decorated gingerbread houses and cookies wearing matching checkered Christmas sweaters! With a cheerful table set in gingerbread‑themed plates, napkins, and village house details, the activity brought festive fun indoors on a cold winter day.
