backyard bear cub first birthday party
Our little bear cub is O N E ! I can hardly believe a whole year has gone by already since this sweet little soul joined our family. I decided to do a simple backyard party to celebrate his birthday, and we lucked out with sunny weather to enjoy spending the afternoon outside. I invited a few of Ethan’s little friends to stop by to take a treat bag home with them and wish him a Happy Birthday!

For the treat bags, I used regular brown paper lunch bags. I just cut out the bear ears on top, added a circle of cream coloured cardstock, and drew a little face with sharpie! I wanted the treat bags to be a little “party” people could take home with them, so I included a little bear cub snack mix (pretzels sticks, honeycomb cereal, golden raisins, chocolate chips, and teddy grahams), banana MadeGood snack bites, bear colouring sheets + crayons, a balloon, and a little bear cub craft the kids could make at home (you can find the free printable here!)
I love these little bear plates! They matched the party perfectly! I added some grid washi tape to the wooden cutlery to match the decor as well.
