peter rabbit bunny brunch party
Our second annual “Bunny Brunch” was so fun this year! Last year, amidst the first lockdown, we were spending Easter at home with just our family so I decided to plan a Bunny Brunch a few days before Easter to add a special tradition and celebration for the kids! This year, turns out is no different so I was excited to plan another Bunny Brunch!
I have waned to plan a Peter Rabbit themed party for a while, and what better time than Easter? I got the cutest Peter Rabbit patterned plates + napkins from A Little Confetti, and set the table with whimsical garden florals from Fall for Florals. I wanted to pretend that we were having a little picnic in Mr. McGregor’s garden! I got each of the kids a little Jellycat bunny that I placed in a terracotta pot at their place setting as a special surprise!
For brunch, I assembled little berry baskets with assorted veggies and a vegetable croissant sandwich. We also snacked on blackberries and raspberries, and bunny graham crackers. I also stacked up a bunch of carrot+zucchini muffins topped with icing for dessert - topped with the sweetest little Peter Rabbit cupcake toppers!
We read "The Tale of Peter Rabbit” and enjoyed our little brunch together. Next up: decorating easter eggs and cookies!
