it's easter basket time!

I LOVE Easter! I don’t know if it’s because of the pastel colours, the fact that spring is on its way, the presence of cute bunnies and baby animals, or that it’s the most GIFT BASKET-centered occasion of all !!

I always have fun finding special and unique things for their gift baskets, but this year - I was really excited about getting each of them a Cuddle+Kind doll! Cuddle + Kind is such an incredible company, as each doll literally helps feed children - for every doll sold, they provide 10 meals to children in need. Not only that - but each doll is hand-knit and ethically produced by artisans with a sustainable, fair trade income. I chose to give Lauren Hannah the Bunny, and picked out Henry the Bunny for Ethan. They are going to love them! And I also appreciate that they are heirloom quality and will be treasured for a long time!

I also like including items from small shops - and when Little Larch released their brand new packaging with an Easter play dough collection - I knew it was a perfect match! Little Larch is special because their dough is all natural, handcrafted in Canada using 100% non-toxic ingredients. Each dough is coloured with plant-based dyes, and lightly scented with essential oils. The easter dough is even topped with bioglitter! The dough is compost friendly, and the ingredient list is so simple and safe for littles to be interacting with! It's basically your homemade play dough… but WAY BETTER! They also just released their new Potion Play - which are little sensory play packs! My kids love messy play and experimenting so I know they will be really into these too!

Another item that I KNOW they will be so excited about are these Glo Pals light-up bath toys! They are little cubes that are water-activated light-up sensory toys. You can read more about their story here - from how and why they were developed, (started as a student project!) to their mission to bring magic to ordinary daily activities.

So here are the items I have gathered for their baskets! I hope this gives you a few ideas for your own little’s, or even gift ideas for another occasion! I always challenge myself to follow these guidelines for their easter baskets: something to wear, something to use, something for spring, something to play with and something to read!
