IKEA Hack - Play Kitchen

 

Well I thought I would join everyone else on the internet and hack the famous IKEA play kitchen! I knew I wanted to renovate this play kitchen after seeing so many cute renditions of it on Pinterest. I ended up taking most of my inspiration from Molly at Almost Makes Perfect - hers turned out so cute but still modern and simple. Visit her post for a more detailed breakdown of how to do it!

I also couldn’t resist hacking the Melissa & Doug stand-up mixer (colour to match my real one of course!) and it turned out so cute! Lots of taping and spray painting but so far its holding up well!

All of the food and utensils are from Ikea, and the mini wooden cutting board and utensil cup is from H&M. I found the little egg carton at Target, and I already had the ceramic milk carton!
